Alpareno Restaurant Group merges Chef Niven Patel’s culinary vision with NRI’s proven operational and investment background; a merger of food and beverage excellence. The collective team brings forth a diverse background operating over 50 food & beverage outlets across the United States, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. This knowledge and experience enables the team to manage multiple outlets, consistently deliver on stakeholder expectations, and scale the business.
The success of Mamey coupled with Chef Niven’s individual success have driven the team to join forces and expand this segment. Chef Niven, a Florida native, has accumulated a following of local and national supporters. His organic rise to fame has garnered robust press from his career as he has been nominated for the James Beard Award: Best Chef South for 3 years in a row. In addition, Chef Niven was selected as one of Food & Wine’s Best New Chefs 2020 and was featured in the New York Times for the opening of Mamey.
The culinary team at Alpareno carefully sources its ingredients. Visiting local farms and developing personal relationships with the farming community is the ethos of its culinary vision. This philosophy is enforced by Chef Niven who lives and works on his farm, Rancho Patel, in Homestead, FL. What impresses most is Chef Niven’s desire to remain focused on what he loves to do: farm, create delicious food, and run the line.
