Gables Station recently topped off, according to engineer Bliss & Nyitray. The 1.2 million square-foot mixed-use project will include 434 apartments, 66 extended-stay hotel rooms, 125,000 square feet of retail, and 1,000 parking spaces.
Walk into the office of Brent Reynolds, the real estate developer transforming US1 in Coral Gables with two large mixed-used projects, and it’s hard to miss the artwork of motorcycle racers. There’s one photo in a blur of speed behind Reynolds’ desk, a shot from his trip to watch the famed Isle of Man motorcycle competition.
That Gables segment also includes a quarter-mile piece to be built by Reynolds and his firm NRI. The Friends of the Underline board member is also developer of the Gables Station mixed-use project now under construction along Ponce de Leon Boulevard.
