Dr. Franklyn G. Prendergast
Former Board Member

Throughout his 50+ year career as a healthcare practitioner, administrator, and innovator, Dr. Prendergast has greatly influenced the direction of healthcare and medical sciences research providing strategic guidance to health institutions in the United States and around the globe including the Saudi Ministry of Health.
Dr. Prendergast served on the Board of Directors of the Infectious Disease Research Institute (IDRI) for more than 15 years; has worked extensively for the National Institutes of Health on numerous study section review groups; as a charter member of the Board of Advisors for the Division of Research Grants, now the Center for Scientific Review; the National Advisory General Medical Sciences Council; the Board of Scientific Advisors of the National Cancer Institute, the National Cancer Advisory Board and was a founding member of the Board of Directors of the Translational Genomics Research Institute.
