Federico Gurdián Broutin
Federico Gurdián serves as the General Manager of the newest Casa Chameleon hotel located in Las Catalinas, Costa Rica. Federico’s management style highlights the importance of always exceeding expectations and creating memorable experiences for guests while also achieving strong financial results.
With over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Federico’s experience began through an extensive management training program for a large-scale, international hotel chain in Riviera Maya, Mexico. The knowledge Federico obtained led him to a unique opportunity in Beijing, China working as the Guest Services Manager for the renowned hotel chain, Marriott International.
He then went to work in Costa Rica for CINDE, the Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency, specializing in the Boutique Hospitality segment. Working for different boutique hotels in Costa Rica, Federico has acquired expertise in general management, hotel operations, and food and beverage management.
Federico holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management from Glion Institute of Higher Education based in Switzerland where among many things he learned the importance of being passionate, organized, innovative, and outgoing to succeed in the hospitality industry.
